I am a 4th/5th grade (we loop) teacher in North Carolina, USA!  I love technology and see it as a crucial element in my classroom.  My class is piloting a 1:1 netbook initiative. I am always striving to provide my students with the tools they will need to lead us into the fast-paced world of 21st century education! There are certainly ripples and many splashes, but what an adventure we’re on!

    Karen,
Could you please send me the lab sheet that accompanied your activity on the layers of the earth where students used graham crackers, marshmallow fluff and such? I have not come across an activity of this type with these ingredients. Did the students have the opportunity to decide which of the provided ingredients to use for the different layers during the lab? Your help with this would be most appreciated.

    Thanks,
